Well, seeing as I don't have a girlfriend, I don't think I can help you. I guess I could tell you how I asked Jocelyn out.
I'll keep it short and simple.
Grade nine gradnight. Very last song, slowdance. Just before it ended, I asked her out.

Not very romantic, I know.. but it's straight and too the point. She understands what you're asking and you know what you're saying..
Either that or something romantic like above. But I always thought that you should save romantic stuff for when you're actually going out...
